House Above The Sun play a string of London shows in the run up to the release of their debut album ‘Five Hours North’.

In keeping with the band’s individual mesh of alternative, folk, blues and country flavours is picking up support from traditionally indie outlets like Clash and God Is In The TV as well as more roots-focussed sites like Americana UK, Maverick Magazine and The Daily Country.

The South London four piece’s ‘Five Hours North’ album, out on October 27, showcases their bohemiam, beatnik grooves and the vivid, often highly personal lyrics of songwriter and frontman Jim Moreton.

They offer a free track, Find A Warmer Place, exclusively from the album. This beatnik air that recalls Kerouac’s ‘On The Road’ recalls vast and dramatic landscapes as rich and spiritual lyrics illustrate vivid depiction of alligators basking in a Florida lagoon.
