CuT bring you a fresh slice of garage punk with ‘Mouth to Mouth’, out on Ra-Ra Rok, June 3rd. The track was recorded at Famous Times analogue studios and produced by Joe Isherwood (Sheet Noise) & Sean Read (Dave Ghan, Dexys, Graham Coxon).
‘Mouth to Mouth’ adds a splash of pop action to their darker punk vibrations. They re-emerge with a newly invigorated pulsating punk sound, luminescent with bright and uplifting tones. Still incorporating the deeper and more hypnotic space grunge rock energy that has been their signature since the outset, their new sound is transformed and evolves each time they play live.
‘Mouth to Mouth’ explores the world of life and death literally and metaphorically and Dan’s wish to influence past events. Their first material since their explosive performance at last year’s Isle of Wight festival, ‘Mouth to Mouth’ looks set to build on the success of previous singles ‘This Way That Way’ and ‘Page 59′ that were greeted with widespread support from radio luminaries including Steve Lamacq and John Kennedy.
Famed for the uniquely ritualistic energy they bring to their live shows, connecting with audiences and sparking life into any surroundings, they are gearing for a whole host of live shows including a number of last minute low key warm up dates – keep an eye on your Inbox for last minute details – leading up to the single launch at the Lexington.
